Now you're talking, Jose. I've always been into 70s Scorpions (and UFO).
This was my first Scorpions album, then Lonesome Crow and then In Trance. I got up to Lovedrive before I stopped buying vinyl. |

Hi Gary! The 1st 3 Scorps albums are amazing, quite better than most hard rock in that era, especially with all the psych rock influence, and that 1st album is simply beyond experimental .....UFO is such an under appreciated band, most of my vinyl UFO is not playable anymore with my high end cart, so I have been on the hunt to replace them with VG+ or new issues. Have a great New Year.....hoping I get over this cold soon.

Absolutely two great bands! Doctor Doctor was the first song I heard by UFO and I was hooked. On the Force It album Let It Roll was just one of several hot songs. Aside from their studio albums, Tokyo Tapes and Strangers In The Night are two of the best live albums I own. Good luck with your cold. Try drinking a hot liquid with a shot of whiskey

Ratt was definitely one of the best hair metal bands in my book. That album in particular I really enjoy, "Dangerous but Worth the Risk" is a classic.

Totally agree...Growing up in SoCal I was able to see them in LA on the Strip a few times b4 they made it big. Some of the covers they did were better than originals, just a better style of playing and they had chops and talent, Pearcy could actually sing and Blotz was a damn good drummer.
