Love Jay Som too, and can't wait to to see her next weekend in concert. Plus this website sucks as I keep hetting rejected from posting about the Bent Knee pressing. MediaOne through Century Media though Sony. At this point, all I know is that the version I got seems to be sold out, which is a bummer.

Thanks Dave........I'll search for the album, maybe get lucky. There are various reasons this website is not what it was 10yrs ago, heck even 2yrs ago. Discussing progressive music here is tough, not much going on. I hang out at Steve Hoffman forums both the Music section and the gear section. If you wanna know anything about a vinyl release that's the place to go.....There are plenty of people there who discuss prog records and prog music too.

^ The regular LP is from InsideOut and I have yet to hear a bad pressing from them.

^ Correct Sam.........I found it at LaserCD.com which is the US Store for InsideOut. US22.00 for a "coke bottle clear vinyl" issue.
Also bought the Steven Wilson remix of Thick As A Brick, my original copy is done!!

Sorry about my last post, I was actually drunk.
All I remember was getting my posts rejected numerous times, as if the website knew I had too much. "No, you really don't want to post that."

That IQ LP is one mean shade of red, goes well with the cover.
Polyvinyl Records had a "buy two, get one free sale a couple of weeks ago. Their roster is mostly dreampop, shoegaze and indie stuff, lots of twee pop too, but they have some artists I dig, plus they do a great job with the vinyl. Hazel English double vinyl (very pretty vinyls) Kero Kero Bonito and Alvvays

A couple more:
The Jay Som I got at her show. The Chelsea also had mint and translucent violet; went with this shade of sky blue.

AAAND one more. I wanted a Korean language vinyl, and got this folk/pop album by Eunji. I gotta say, this wound up being one of the most elaborate packaging jobs I've ever gotten. Fans must have been thrilled.
And more pictures: Not something I'd play much, but it's certainly enjoyable to look at...

^All you guys in the Northern Hemisphere are so lucky with regards accessibility and pricing of vinyl. The Australian $ is very weak at the moment and Australian vinyl pressings are few and far between these days compared to the 60s, 70s and 80s. So we have to buy from overseas and postage to Oz in most cases is astronomical for 12" vinyl. Sometimes I wish I was American....but then again I'd rather put up with a leader who is a former advertising executive than a "leader" who is the laughing stock of the whole world.....on seconds thoughts, maybe I could put up with Mr "Fake News", only if I was able to get my vinyl cheap!

Hopefully those prices don’t shoot up after he’s impeached and removed from office! |
