^ The new shelves in my music room have three rows and two are full.
When the last row is full, I'm done. There's no room for more shelves.

^ You know, Sam, I guess things aren't critical yet.
I did a quick estimate and I have room for about 350 albums before the shelf is full. PayPal here I come.

You know guys, I've been spending my kid's inheritance on albums for a couple of years now.
When I think about what a handful they were growing up I'll probably place another order today.

^ When I was buying CDs I ordered regularly from Greg but I think I only bought one vinyl album from him.
I think I'll check out his site this afternoon.

^ There's many vinyl titles which appear in his updates, every couple of months, which never make it to his on-line catalogue. That's why as soon as he posts his update, I get him to reserve a stack for me so I don't miss out in the future.

Arrived today....
Side 6 of Similitude is an etching PS: I am really not happy with Radiant Records ordering. It has been common for them to "forget" about my orders and I have to email asking when it will ship. Meg always apologizes for delays, this order took one month. Then she tells me she is out of the clear vinyl of Kindness, although the option to order it online remains... She always ends her emails with God Bless...uhhh, then I end up feeling bad .

^ See, no Extreme Metal or growly stuff. Still love Meshuggah as much as Anekdoten, Anthrax as much as Floyd, Opeth as much as Anglagard.........

^ Thanks David !!
I've been kind of 'locked in' a Metal phase - catching up on things that were 'tarnished' by idiots during my adolescence. I gotta say that I'm surprised with Slayer, they can play well, and I dunno why I never paid much attention to Anthrax. Some great (re) discoveries there. But prog is in my heart and soul......always. Really looking forward to the PAPIR album. |

Hah I'm the exact way and go through metal phases every once in a while. Nowadays though I tend to reach for Neurosis or those crazy new cats outta Finland Oranssi Pazuzu. Gotta love it when metal takes on psychedelia and still sounds brutal.
Prog is in your heart? I can dig it. I think it's psych that's in mine. Maybe I got dropped in the peyote bowl as a kid who knows? |

^ You don't need a 'dysfunctional' background to dig extreme metal / thrash. More so, you (possibly) need to have tripped to understand Kraut and Psych

There may just be some truth to that although I don't need psychedelics to "get me there".
I do understand why many reviewers descripe heady music as somethhing one has to be stoned to listen to...most of them have just never been relaxed enough to accept the music for what it is I'd recommend the horse tranquilizer to those people. |

^ Haha, Ketamine always hits the spot
Seriously, I can crash out to Gorguts or Slayer just like I can TD or Schulze !! I just love the playing, sounds and approach, however heavy or mellow things are. |
