I own 13 of those. My favourite is A Trick of the Tail.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

15, but I could do without a couple of them.  Mostly the metal stuff.

It's easier to list the ones I don't have: Banco, Museo Rosenbach, Area, Opeth and Magma.

I've got five.  I have Trick of the Tail, not only on CD, but also a vinyl version, framed and hanging on my wall.

I also have Phideaux, Riverside, Pain of Salvation and one of the Gentle Giant albums (Octopus).
-------someone please tell him to delete this line, he looks like a noob-------

I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a fourteen year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

I was prepared to agree with you, Dennis, in my pick for favorite, but The Perfect Element may yet give it a run for its money Shocked

ohhh you like it I'm so happy Clap

Indeed I did! I definitely owe you for the wonderful suggestion. A million thanks again for your help all those weeks ago! Definitely greatly appreciated Handshake

haha glad I could help!! Well I checked out Haken - The Mountain from your suggestion so I say we're equal now Handshake

Nice! So glad I could help out myself! Definitely hope it lived up to the hype for you as much as it did for me. I've definitely fallen in love with that one.

Sleeper, you're not a prog electronic guy?

Not in the slightest. Several years ago I gave a run through several of the samples we have here on the site, plus I've listened to a few Cluster albums, and have come to the conclusion that it'll be the one sub genre I'll never buy anything from.

I understand what you mean.  I gave Rubycon and some others a listen a few years back and was bored out of my mind.  Wasn't until I hit the ripe age of 22 and I was looking for something ambient to listen to while programming at work that I picked up Rubycon again.  I started listening to it while working and when going to sleep at night (weird, cool dreams!) and even on quiet rainny afternoons and now I can safetly say that I like prog electronic.  Its definitely not active listening material (at least not at first), but it can really construct a mood and I dig it.

That kind of thing has never worked for me, when I want the more ambient type of thing I reach for early White Willow albums or something like Espers.

I have the same problem with post rock bands like Godspeed, bore me to tears because nothing happens for minutes on end. I'm very proud of my multitasking ability in regards to listening to music whilst doing something else, but it does mean I have no tolerance for ambient music.

That would be a deal breaker! You're right I don't think Electronic Prog is for you LOL I wish I could multitask as well as you I usually break my focus or restart the song because I missed my favorite part.

I actually have a tough time getting into Godspeed and some other post-rock bands too. Usually they're not chill enough to put in the backround but not interesting enough to hold my attention.  The result is kind of an annoying wall of sound.
