I've got this album and also The Beauty Of Our Youth. Wink

Here is another one for you, Elephant Plaza. This is particularly good prog from a very unknown group.

Thanks - It seems Porcupine Tree is the Pink Floyd of modern prog as a lot of bands emulate them.

Here are 2 more for you. First one from the KScope label (who have some excellent modern prog bands in their portfolio), The Receiver with their new album All Burn

Next one, from Tilt on their recent album Hinterland

Thanks for the tips! I've been listening to The Receiver's newest LP this morning. It's an enjoyable slice of atmospheric prog/alternative music. I hear bits of Blackfield, Iamthemorning and Pink Floyd, along with elements of The Cure and dream/Brit pop bands like Slowdive.

Yes, dredg have a unique alt-prog sound. Another crossover band in a similar vein that breaks the mold is UK group Pure Reason Revolution from their 2009 album The Dark Third. One of my favourite modern prog groups and very unique.

Thanks for the tip on MDS - I particularly like the last track posted and have added to my playlist.

Been listening to the latest album from The Pineapple Thief over the weekend - Your Wilderness, and it is very good, definitely an improvement on recent albums. Recommended.

MDS are working on a new album. Smile

And I think that Your Wilderness will be one of the top albums for 2016.

Pinkroom: Unloved Toy (Poland-2014).
Influences: Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Riverside. Top ! (18/20).
