I love Circus, their 20 minutes epic in Movin' On contains some of the best prog I've heard.

Another great band that is missing here is Galaxy, they released only one album in 78' excellent stuff.

I really only know  Brainticket, Island, and Circus well, and of those I love Brainticket tthe most. Island's Pictures is a great album, though.

Surprised you never heard Debile Menthol before. Udi Koomran describes them as "a mash-up of Henry Cow and the B-52s" He uploaded this vid to YT:

I have heard various Debile Menthol music before, but I don't own any of the albums.  Cool video, thanks!  With at least one of these I had heard nothing at all by that I recall: The Evpatoria Report (sounds like very good post-rock).  Actually, I have heard Mainhorse's first  album too.   Good album.

I voted for Brainticket - maybe not too surprisingly. I am such a huge Krautrock fan...
Just listened to the debut this morning after finishing my exam, and it was a real thrill to blow out some imaginary cobwebs of the mind. It's a wonderful album, albeit very strange and hypnotic.

another for Clepsydra here... 'Fears' remains one of the best Neo-Prog albums ever written imho.

Island of the very few I've heard.

I picked Brainticket because they have 3 albums that I really enjoy. I am a fan of Clepsydra and Shakary but also some of the Krautrock named bands like McChurch Soundroom and of course Brainticket.

Clepsydra, one of the best neo bands IMO.  Although I haven't heard most of these, I think it would be hard to top their 4 excellent albums
