Monno was formed in 1999 at Lausanne, now based in Berlin.

One of the other quotes on the Idiosyncratics soundcloud link: "The band butter their sandwiches with blood, replenish their thermos with Black-Death whiskey and set out on a trudge through the muddy swamps of sludge, doom and drone."
 
To me this is just noise, but it's not really my comfort zone at all, so others may hear the 'music' entirely differently.
 
I'm a little unsure regarding the inclusion of a newalbumreleases.net link in your post though, Sve. My Internet security software flags it as a dodgy site, so I haven't visited it myself, but as far as I'm aware this site tends to include illegal download links on its pages, so it might not be advisable to leave this link in...  Ermm

They may consider it noise themselves, but they know what kind of noise and what it's made of (all the electronics, computing, etc). Actually they've all played advanced jazz music !!

I've met them, and the more, I owe much of my meeting with many musicians & artists in Lausanne to one of them, a very committed guy.
