Thirty years is a long time for any band.  Especially if their fans prefer the older stuff.

Which of the later Gong albums is your favourite?

Hi,

I'll let you know when I hear a couple of those. Right now, I'm trying to replace some LP's in my collection with CD's. Too heavy and I don't have a house!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Not taken much interest in Pierre Moerlen's Gong since Gazeuse tbh. Of the real Daevid Allen Gong it is a simple choice for me ... the One With Stevie Hillside.
What?

Wow, I've only got two of these.  I gave it to Pentanine .  I also have Zero To Infinity.  I think it's great that Daevid considers the incarnations of Gong he wasn't in as just as legit as the ones he was in.  If you enjoy the Moerlin incarnations, be sure and check out Gongzilla.  Pentanine is rather interesting as other than Pierre there are no other Gong members from previous incarnations.  He put together a band of Russians.  RIP Pierre.

Also as an aside it was pretty cool to find out that Bon Lozaga and Hansford Rowe have worked with Happy Rhodes. Big smile

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
