Topic: Still Life vs World Record Posted: January 23 2014 at 08:09 |
Which of these? Very hard for me to choose but I'm going with World Record cos it's more eclectic than Still Life imo.

Well Still Life has some of my all time favourite songs on it, whereas I can barely stand to sit through all of Meurglys. Feels weird to think these both came out the same year!

World Record. Overall, it's a little more intense than Still Life.

Apart from 'When She Comes' and 'Meurglys III', WR doesn't move me as much as Still Life overall.

World record. Love the opening and closing tracks. Still life has a bit too much talking
|
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Still Life. I love it and Godbluff, but cannot get into any part of World Record at all, for some reason.
