Hi there! Both of these classics are very evenly rated but I just wanted to see how even they are in this poll. Generally the favourite is Selling England but I personally prefer Foxtrot Tongue Interesting to see what you think though

As always, thanks for any feedback Smile

Selling England By The Pound. It really does sound like a band that has fully matured.

Foxtrot wins hands down.

SEBTP has some of the best moments of the Gabriel era, but also a few of the worst imo. Foxtrot is consistently good throughout.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Selling.. is good, but for me has some bits which are a little too whimsical. Foxtrot is great throughout, and Supper's Ready is one of my all-time favourites by any band!

Foxtrot is OK but is ruined by that horrid Suppers Ready.

Selling England for me.

Both albums are in my top 5, but Foxtrot ranks highest.

Exactly.
Also, Foxtrot original LP was awfully produced.

Foxtrot. SEBTP is actually my least favorite of the Gabriel era.

For me, I consider SEBTP a flawless masterpiece, but I still prefer Foxtrot, the Lamb, and Trespass over it.

But of course I am just a silly Genesis fanboy

This---Foxtrot production is so bad it unfortunately can't be judged properly---SEBTP has a great feel from beginning to end--almost like a concept album.

I agree. Foxtrot is very powerful, but SEBTP has maturity.
As years go by, I prefer maturity, though it took some time for me to appreciate SEBTP, I must say.
