Jep, I ordered my copies this morning.
If I understood it right, it's Digelius only who have these albums.
And there aren't many of them left, 25 or so.
So be quick!

They're in stock at Wayside as well, my copies are on the way from Uncle Steve.

Has anyone had a chance to compare these new releases with the older ones?  I have both of their remarkable cds, if the SQ is better with this pressing I’ll be upgrading.  Especially their 2nd masterpiece, Bad Haircut.

I don't have anything to compare it to but the Bad Haircut sounds terrific to me.

I would say the original one is very good but not terrific.  Of course it’s all subjective, for 20 bucks I’ll order Bad Haircut from Wayside and post a comparison.  Thanks for the reply….

Just ordered Huono Parturi from Wayside.

Protip:  when "must have" oop records are reissued, grab them immediately.  They go quick and you never know when they might appear again.  This is especially true in the RIO/Zeuhl sphere.

Wise words.  I ordered mine a few days ago.  I should do the same with Dun -Eros.

Indeed, though for some reason my wife always looks at me skeptically when I tell her "but it's been out of print for 15 years & I've got to have it."

I too ordered mine. Hopefully they will live up to the massive expectations I have for them.

Hey akaBona, thanks for the tip.

I got my package from Digelius with both CDs yesterday and listened to 'Bad Haircut' last night. What an album!

I'd never heard Steam Engine before but as a long time fan of Hammers of the Underworld (who played a great gig in London in November, BTW) had to get these. Count Stakula has certainly changed in appearance since 1997, then again who hasn't?

The booklet for each CD contains the following credit "Remastered by Svante Forsback at Chartnakers". Don't have the original issues for comparison but sound quality of Bad Haircut is excellent.
Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

I ordered both of the albums last week from Wayside.  I got an email this weekend that they were refunding me money, so I have a bad feeling that I didn't get either CD from them.  I guess that I will find out when my Wayside shipment arrives.

Sorry to hear that, you guys. Disapprove.  I guess I got lucky.

BTW, since you asked earlier, the new CDs are just reprints of the old CD; i.e. no remixing or remastering was done, they're copies of the original issue.

I've only had them less than a week now, but they seem about equal quality to me.  If anything, I prefer the first one too.  But they're both wonderful.
