For some reason I never dug Mirage, but I really like Moonmadness.

Both two stunning albums. Mirage has two amazintg tracks (Lady and Nimrodel) and the rest nothing special. Moonmadness is almost all perfect, no weak points. So as a whole thing, I prefer Moonmadness.

I feel some Deja vu with this poll. I think that not many time ago I said almost the same... is that true?

Moonmadness has the edge, overall, though Mirage has "Never Let Go" and other cool songs.

I prefer the snowgoose over either one but I chose Mirage. Moonmadness is still very good too though.

This is difficult. I'll vote for Moonmadness.
When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Jeez - where have this band been all my life?

Never really listened to them that much but these albums have some fantastic tracks.

Any others worth checking out?

^ People usually look to the "classic trinity": Mirage, Music Inspired by "The Snow Goose", and Moonmadness. Some even count in their debut (the early days) and Rajaz (the latter days). Their rather poppy effort Breathless is my personal favorite, though. Tastes can be quite tricky.

I also enjoy the short tracks from "Dust and Dreams" and "Nude", and you?

Rajaz is great music. And what about the song FOR TODAY? For me a masterpiece (music and lyric)

^ M-hm ... especially since some of us voted for the one that was behind when they couldn't choose between the two.

Not voting Cuz that 32/32 split is too appealing.

If you had asked me when I started getting into Camel, I would've said Mirage, but now I say Moonmadness.

Not much between them though. Easily my favourite two of their first five albums, which are the ones I own and are most familiar with.

The Snow Goose is my least favourite of those, BTW.
