Hi! I want to suggest this new and excellent Czech instrumental prog/djent metal band. They released one EP and one full studio album. Music is inspirated by the groups like Animals As Leaders, Chimp Spanner, Periphery.

Biography:

Modern Day Babylon is djent/prog-metal band from Czech Republic. It was founded by guitarist Tomas Raclavsky at the end of 2010, then joined by Vojtech Seminsky (drums) and Marek Mrvik (bass). Music is influenced by djent wave represented by the groups such as Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Tesseract and Chimp Spanner. They prefer instrumental tracks and have been established as one of the most interesting band in Czech Republic.

The first shot was EP The Manipulation Theory (2011) and won Czech Britva Awards for discovery of the year and also mini-album of the year. Two years later comes with full studio release Travelers with some interesting guitar guests like Jakub Zytecki (guitarist of Disperse), Chris Storey (All Shall Perish) and Sergey Golovin from Russia.

Tomas Raclavsky is skilled and talented guitar player on 8-string guitar with djenty structured riffs and some nice melodic tunes. Modern Day Babylon has also gained a fans outside of their country and they will probably continue in progressive-metal work.
