Yup. Thumbs Up Approve I don't care what negative things people say about this album. I really shouldn't .

Yeah, I think it's a great album. There's always a group of people who won't like something no matter what it is, it doesn't matter to me one iota. This was one of the first progressive rock albums I ever heard so I have a rather sentimental attachment to it.

Why would you care about what others say about it in the first place?

Well, when I first got into progressive rock there were many people, whom I looked up to because they were more musically knowledgeable than me, would steer me in a multitude of directions. Thankfully, I found my own way with this music and began to formulate my own opinions as well as tastes. Anyway, I certainly don't care now what people think, but when I was a young, impressionable prog-head, I really had nothing else to go by.

This album is really the perfect bridge between early-1970s prog rock ambition and complexity on one hand, late-1970s heavy metal driving hard-edged riffing on the other hand.
