Hopefully the giants won't get embarrassed again, but with the loss of Cruz and the defense playing average at best I'm not counting on it.

Thumbs Up Love what the chargers are doing. And their only loss was by one point.

This upcoming Thursday Night game has the potential to be great, Chargers against Broncos.  Should give Rivers a chance to make a statement.

Was surprised but not shocked to see Harvin let go by the Seahawks...

He's gotten tons of praise from the media I've thought, I just (full admittance) mainly talk about the Giants and give others a blurb if I think of it LOL but nah I've been hearing "Rivers for MVP" all this year, and if his play continues, he has to be in the running. I think he's been an MVP candidate for a couple of years now. He has the unfortunate problem of being on a small market team...and 7-9 win teams for a while, so he may not get much exposure but yeah Rivers has been playing A+.

That was the play of the year possibly if you all saw the punt return by Rams against Seattle!!! That was awesome and shows was great scouting can do, along with some trickery!

Nice work St Louis

Wow, Seattle falls to St Louis.
Super Bowl hangover talks may begin?

That was a ballsy play with the fake punt. Makes sense, giving that short a field to Wilson is pretty much giving the win away, but still, ballsy to do. Also St Louis made that harder than needed....literally won the game on that first down and fumbled itLOL
Edit: BTW who is Austin Davis?? Undrafted out of Southern Miss, well if his play keeps up, we may soon be asking "Who was Sam Bradford??"

I was wrong with Carolina Green Bay and Cincy Indy. Both were pretty one sided and the ?s about Cincy continue.
Oh boy, Dallas time....I shan't be back till tonight, either elated or more likely depressed hah

Hawks line (both) were manhandled by Rams for most of game. The O still struggles to get it going, Pete needs to return to running Wilson a lot more. Defenses are focused on Lynch normally and with DB getting better, harder for Wilson to find receivers open, not like last year.

And that is the same problem with my Saints...blew that upset with horrible coverage, handed that TD on a silver platter. Drew cannot win it by himself...he needs a much better D. But at 2-4 NO still has a very good chance to win the NFC South...Confused

Though Wilson took off a lot? I know he ran alot a couple of games ago, and had 100+ today
Honestly, that defense hasn't looked the same this year. I know a few have left, but seems to be mainly intact, esp the big names. I'm curious if the new emphasis the NFL has placed has impacted them a bit. The legion of boom was famous for their aggressive play, the league is cracking down on that this year...

Rob Ryan is sh*tLOL he really is.

Well, so far Giants have been....OK. Giants really f**ked up that first drive (3 straight runs, I think it made -1 yards) and a false start blew the 4th down attempt they were gunna attempt, BUT Line is holding up better and Eli has been fine so far. Still, very nervous though, our defense is beat up.
Edit: That said Prince Amukamara is healthy and really having a good year, ROMO PICK!!! Cmon Giants, take advantage.
YESSSSSSSS what a pass.

Ugh.....f**kin disgusting. I never know what's worse, blow out or you could've won and blew it.
Penalties and fumbles, and play calling. They ran the ball way too much. Even down 14 in the 4th, still running it even though it was dreadful all day. When they did turn it over to Eli he was lights out but 2 scores with 8 some minutes is asking one miracle too many. Especially with a defense who couldn't stop Dallas all day. Ugh, this was Gilbride-esque how poor the play calling was.

Poor defense, too many penalties, too many fumbles. Bad calling to boot, what a disaster.

All I can say is that Jim Caldwell is bringing a very different attitude to this Lions team.  In years past, being down by 13 with five minutes to go, they would've given up, but they had a lot of fight in them today!  5-2!

Kudos to Peyton and the TD record.  Admire the work ethic he puts in, especially in this day and age where there needs to more of it elsewhere.

Well how about that, the Steelers did not lose today...oh yeah, they play on Monday.  We will see which team shows up.

Absolutely. Crazy to think of the final number that record will wind up when he eventually retires.

Rams fake punt was awesome, as well as their "fake" punt return for TD.

Yeah I loved that. I think it was done a few years ago as well, but the TD was called back for a clip or something.

Seems like it, but I'm still pumped at the offense AND defense not giving up that late in the game when they were down.  Some good coaching, finally.

So hopefully great game tonight. 2 great teams, AFC west very in the air, could be huge. Btw I can't vouch for media in other areas...but here the Chargers have not been ignored at all. Been discussed at length daily and Rivers leads MVP talk. So lots of love. SD is impressive and plays Denver tough, hopefully their prime time demons have been exorcised!
