My guess would be RIO/Avant, with Eclectic/Symphonic close behind.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Probably Symphonic Prog, but Heavy Prog, Prog Metal (thanks to DT), and Eclectic Prog come pretty close behind.

I think I have more Prog-related than any of these though.

*Slaps head* I totally forgot to total up the albums I have by TMV in my earlier count. Heavy prog is now ahead of the heap. But I know symph will eclipse that soon, so at some point in the future, I won't be incorrect anymore.

The clear winner for me is RIO/Avant with 232, although if I mix Zeuhl in then I hit 256. Second place is Crossover with 137.

Symphonic Prog

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

I'm surprised that eclectic didn't get more votes.....for me prolly a tie between eclectic, symphonic, and Canterbury when it comes to prog but I have more 'classic rock' from the past than all of those.

I can eliminate over half of the nineteen choices simply because the numbers are not there.
From the remaining sub genre JRF got my vote but the top four choices were pretty even.

1st - Jazz Rock/Fusion
2nd - Symphonic Prog
3rd - Krautrock
4th - Rock Progressivo Italiano

Prog metal
Heavy prog
Neo prog

Have to admit that I'm enjoying the latter categories as much or more as I continue to explore.
More heavy prog, please!
