Four bands that I discovered at about the same time when I really delved into Prog, and each band has albums that I have been super infatuated with.Much as I really like all four, this is my order in terms of the amount of time I spend listening to each these days.

1. Magma
2. Amon Düül ll
3. Univers Zero
4. Gong

It has to be Magma for me since that is the only one of these "sub-genres" (four categories that I love) that I can say is the most important band of its category to me despite loving a huge amount of Zeuhl.  The four of these bands do have albums that I really cherish, though.  I also have the most Magma albums of any band in PA.

Incidentally, I think my list of these categories would be: Magma, Popol Vuh, Art Zoyd and Cos (just cause there are albums by those four that I have seemed to returned to, and still return to, so very much).
Just a fanboy passin' through.

I'm in a Canterbury mood today, so I'll vote Gong.

Well, even if Univers Zero doesn't appeal to you, at least you must have seen some worth in Heresie as you rated it four stars (and I think of that as a particularly challenging album from Univers Zero). I respect that someone might not get the appeal of a band yet still recognise the value in an album.
