I really want your first round predictions in the East to be correct so I'll just go ahead and agree with them. Not as well versed in the West but I think this year San Jose will beat LA.

I'm late to th party but I think the winners in round one will be:
Boston
Montreal
Pittsburg
Philadelphia

Colorado
St.Louis
Dallas
LA

Yeah Dallas is a big stretch I know but I think Anaheim goes down this round or next. How about a Boston / St.Louis final ? I actually saw the final between these two teams back in what, 1970 or so where Bobby Orr scored that famous goal, I was sitting in my Grandma's livingroom on a Saturaday or was it Sunday afternoon.
