Fontarabie is a new orchestral projet by Julien Mineau from Malajube, a quite famous band around Quebec.
This new project is very interresting, and while only the third album by malajube could have been considered prog, Frontarabie is quite unique and definitively goes under the crossover genre.

They will released their first album in june and it is already available to listen directly from their website.

Here are the links to their website and bandcamp

Wow.......this is really interesting!
Reminds me of some of my fave orchestral albums. Vannier, Schäfer and Goraguer all spring to mind - only here there's a strong indie vibe with those fragile vocals making me think of Sigur Ros. Xover does indeed seem like the place, even if I detect some serious symphonic touches.
The real question remains: is this prog? I'm not really sure, but I sure as hell am digging the crap out of it!

I'm throwing this by the xover lads - see what's whatThumbs Up
