I listen to them once in a while. "Homicidal Suicidal", "Breadfan", "Young Is The World", "Zoom Club" and "Napoleon Bona Parts 1 & 2" are among my favorites.

I never played them.

I haven't got any albums.

But I will. Very soon.

Is the music at least as good as the cover art?

I still listen to Budgie, and my favorite songs are Gunslinger, Power Supply, Hammer and Tongs, Whiskey River and Melt The Ice Away. Will always love them.

Only have a couple of their records and spin them once in a while. They're pretty awesome.

If your a beginner on Budgie it might take a little gettin' used to,but it will grow on you. Some songs you may not like at all.I'd recommend starting Never Turning Your Back On A Friend, then maybe Squawk, then maybe Bandolier, then maybe the S/T Debut, then maybe In For The Kill.Beware of Impeckable though.....Oh yes the music is as the cover art in my humble opinion.

I had In For The Kill in the late-80's but that went years ago (liberal lending policy) - wasn't bad from memory, but Never Turn Your Back..... is wonderful end to end, and Squawk too. Still treasure my LP's of those.

I have the 2-disc compilation An Ecstasy Of Fumbling, and I bring it out every once in awhile.  Lots of fun tunes.

Got 2 of their albums...one on vinyl and one on disc.....played the disc a while back.
Can't even recall the name of it....must have made a big impression on me.

Impeckable is an absolutely brilliant album , one of the very best, as is If I Were Brittannia, I'd Waive The Rules.

I love Budgie to death, funny but i simply never could get into Impeckable, not saying it's a bad album,i just could not get into it myself.I do like the cover though.I even sold the NM copy of the LP i had & the CD i had, just figured i'd never listen to either again. Also another Budgie album that everyones likes that i do not care as much for is In For The Kill.I'd say Squawk is my favorite, which may be someone else's least favorite? That's just how it goes.Atleast we are Budgie fans regardless

A couple of Budgie stories

when I was in college in the early 1980s,  a fellow in my program said that one night when bar hopping and kind of drunk in Toronto, he stumbled into the El Mocambo and Budgie were playing! Talk about great timing.

Another acquaintance of mine said that he was in the Gasworks, a popular Toronto rock bar, and the guy he struck up a conversation with said, "I'm in a group called Budgie". Again, man, I wish I had timing like that.
