Don't you understand a word because you don't speak Italian? Here is the key to understand L' enigma Della Vita.
To better understand the meaning of the album, we are developing a translated version of lyrics. Please, enjoy "L'enigma della vita" with English subtitles. WAKING FROM A LONG SLEEP - VENIVO DA UN LUNGO SONNO ...I came from a long sleep... The sound of the air brushing against the curtains woke me up it wasn’t yet daylight and i was travelling, but I didn’t know where to... Protected by a woolen blanket the road moved quickly under my feet and I could hear the sound of a conversation in a language that was not mine… MEANING. Lyrics: ...I came from a long sleep... Meaning: "L'enigma della vita" is title, doubt, meaning and solution at the same time: the narrator is the listener and the enigma is his/her life. One of the biggest enigma is where we come from. “Venivo da un lungo sonno” talks about this: it talks about THE BIRTH. Lyrics: The sound of the air brushing against the curtains woke me up it wasn’t yet daylight and I was travelling, but I didn’t know where to... Meaning: Do you remember that moment? Do you remember the time your trip started? No one knows where he comes from. What’s going on now? What is the future? Why I’m here and where I’m going to… Lyrics: Protected by a woolen blanket the road moved quickly under my feet Meaning: The trip is already started. Time passes. Real life, outside mother’s arms, goes on… Lyrics: and I could hear the sound of a conversation in a language that was not mine… Meaning: But in this first experience, in this new world, you are alone! I just got this album a few weeks ago, and I have really been enjoying int a lot. Really wonderful music, and 13 years seem to have been worth for making such a beautiful album. Let's just hope that you don't need another 13 to make a new masterpiece of the same calibre.
