I have all Pink Floyd studio albums, but I really like only 4 of them, in this order:

(1) DSOTM
(2) AMLOR
(3) Animals
(4) Meddle

The rest of PF's discography doesn't do much for me.

Animals!  If Rock is to be remembered 1000 years from now, Waters' rantings on the nature of us beasts will still ring true....or string true ("harmlessly passing your time in the grasslands away"...."who was only a stranger at home/who was ground down in the end/who was found dead on the phone"....phone?  WTF is a phone?...."Wave upon wave of demented avengers/march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream).  Who else hit so close to the bone?

Eight copies of Animals....Meddle....Obscured by Clouds....my top 10.

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

My 4 faves in no particular order:

Atom Heart Mother
Animals
Ummagumma
More

and I love almost everything else they did with the exception of Final Cut. Delicate Sound Of Thunder was my gateway drug into Floyd together with The Wall. I remember listening to it incessantly for a year or so back when I was 12 and doing my weekly 4 hour mailman route. I managed to listen to my cassette tape twice in the process, and as a result of this every note and small musical quiver is now forever tattooed onto my cerebral cortex.

Animals
Wish You Were Here

Yeah, only two. Masterpieces both! Their only two, as far as I'm concerned. Not to say I dislike their other albums, in fact, I like all of their studio albums, to some degree, just can't be bothered ranking them, as PF just doesn't do much for me.

1. Atom Heart Mother - the first prog album I ever heard, over forty years ago.
2. Ummagumma - heard it immediately after AHM, I was ten years old and my life was changed.

Those two are always up there, the next few vary positions now and again

3. A Saucerful Of Secrets
4. Relics
5. Animals
6. Wish You Were Here
7. Meddle
8. Dark Side Of The Moon
9. Live At Pompeii (I know it's not an album, but hey)

And I like the idea of The Endless River so much, I'll put it in at Number 10.
Although I haven't heard it, the descriptions of it thrill me like no Floyd album I haven't already listed, therefore it's better than them.

Uh..they only have 14 studio albums.....you might as well ask to list all of them.

I suppose the first 10.....since I never really cared that much for The Wall; a truly overrated one imho.

always have been.. always will be a fan of the groups earlier albums. And still think their later albums suck... a castrated group without Roger... I should buy Momentary Lapse again.. just so I can throw out the window of a moving vehicle.. again.

1. Saucerful
2. More (adore this album)
3. Obscured by Clouds
4. Ummagumma
5. Atom Heart Mother
6. DSOTM
7.  Piper
8. WYWH
9. Animals
10. The Wall
