Welcome! New York's also the current home of my favourite jazz band, Snarky Puppy, and Colin Marston of Dysthrythmia/Behold the Arctopus/Gorguts/etc. is from New York, which are all awesome too.  What are your favourite subgenres and bands?

'Yes' would have to be my favourite band, but as of lately I been listening to lots of Elk City and Ars Nova..
