Yeah, what is it with Hackett that whenever he does a group thing with a member of Yes, he ends up putting out a slick AOR album? First with GTR and then with Squackett. Although I do have to say Squackett > GTR.

Well, I have to admit that I actually quite like GTR! Embarrassed

The problem with the Squackett album for me was not that it was slick, but that it just wasn't very memorable

Personally I like the Squackett album a lot.  I think you need to get out of the mindset of "epic prog masterpiece" and just listen to it as a crossover prog album.  It's quite lovely.

I like Squackett a lot too---and Life within a Day fairly epic---it was mostly a Hackett --King thing in terms of taking Squire by the hand and then doing their thing. Maybe They should produce the next Yes albumWink
