Would that end up like mods & rockers or crips & bloods?

Will be going to the Huddersfield gig - happy to identify a handy pub nearby for Cow fans to congregate in!  (I don't know the town centre that well...)

Seen on Prog Ears
Details for Friday

The show is listed to start at 7:30pm and I guess will actually start close to that time. There's a free performance in the lobby at 6pm by Estafest, http://www.estafest.com/ , a Dutch improv jazz group.

http://www.barbican.org.uk/media/upl..._floorplan.pdf shows the Barbican's floor plan, with the Hall where the show is in red. I think the Estafest performance will be on the Ground floor, between the bar and the Lakeside Terrace entrance. I think that bar, that little splodge of yellow in the bottom left of the Ground floor floor plan, is a good place for everyone to meet up. The Ground floor is an open space, so the bar is just along the wall: it's not a separate room.

If you're coming from Barbican tube station, you walk through the Barbican complex, past residential spaces, into a plaza, down some steps, and into the Lakeside Terrace plaza, with a pond to your right and the Barbican music venue to your left. Just go in the first door you can on your left and you should be in about the right place. If you come in via the Silk St entrance (from Moorgate or Liverpool St tube), then you come into the building, along a walk way, into the main lobby space and have to go to the opposite end from where you are.

I should be there by 5:45pm.
Henry

Some people are meeting in the Hand and Shears, a couple of minutes from the Barbican, from 5.00.

'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

I have a spare ticket for the gig tonight as my girlfriend can't make it.

If anyone wants it, and can come to the Barbican to get it from me, send a PM. I won't be getting there until shortly before the gig starts at 7.30pm.

For the Huddersfield gig, I hear from a very reliable source that 'The Sportsman' is a good pub handy for the venue.
