Bit of a bold choice but dropping SF's defense for Cleveland this week!
They seem to be pretty solid and more so, they play Jacksonville LOL I'll take that over SF's D vs. Denver....

Hope it doesn't bite me!

Jesus christ....Donnell had to fumble, at least he was primed to rack up garbage time stats, until he fumbles again.
Thank god we don't put $$ on this!

Lost again, and would have won if I played Garcon. Oh well, tonight I saw Terry Bozzio perform so my face permanently looks like this Big smile.

Miami's defense has killed me in 3 leagues this week.

"Here we go Dallas" is something I never thought I'd be saying.

I'm right along with you. I need Murray, Witten, and Williams to combine for 13 points. I don't anticipate them blowing it.

I scored 80 points this week and still won...

I'll take it, but that was pitiful.

FF is fun but again, I could NEVER put $$ on it. It's like 75% luck/circumstance beyond control. I dont mean injuries even, but when a move is paying off, but their team may be up big so pulls him. Or you're up by a point, and your opponent's player gets easy yards in garbage time. Kills me.

48.75 points for Rodgers. 11 for Wallace, 12.4 for Beckham, 11.9 Julio, 14 Mason Crosby, 13 SF.
That's 111 and despite having 2 Philly players tonight and them winning huge I STILL lose! This is insaneLOL

Has anyone had problems with players not being put into their starting positions? I have dropped and picked up players, put them in the position slot, but come game time they are on my bench. It has happened more than once this year to me... now my kicker and defense iwasn't started but when I picked them up I made sure to put them in the starting slot. Now I'm really paying for it.

Was able to pick up a late game kicker in Arizona but I maxed out on weekly pickups so its no defense.

I figured this thing all out. If you are using Firefox with the no script add-on, and pickup/drop a player, it will remove the player dropped from your roster and put the player you just picked up on your bench. Then Yahoo automatically saves, any move made after that will not be auto-saved, letting you make moves and continue on not knowing they would not be confirmed. I have set the "no script" settings to allow Yahoo permission to be bypassed, but doesn't seem to matter. I am now going to use Safari for all fantasy football related business and sorry this happened more than once.

Edit:
Also had issues through the firefox web browser on my phone one week, but both of my other computers had no issues using FF without the No-Scipt add-on, that is what lead me to think it was the issue.

When I was 1-5, I didn't want to say anything as I felt it would sound like whining. Now that I'm 7-5 and threatening to make the playoffs, I wanted to propose a couple things for next year.

1. Could we draft after 3 weeks of preseason? Absolutely nothing is settled after 2 warm up games to the actual dress rehearsal. One gets a much better understanding which players will be good, and which ones won't with 3 weeks of the preseason done.

2. Could we have a waiver claim system until Wednesday. The whole 1st come, 1st serve is definitely a huge disadvantage to those of us who a) are too busy to spring on every potential free agent when they pop up or b) has a ridiculous sense of honor and won't make pick-ups until Tuesday after work(this is me)

Both points sound good to me.

And damn, I missed the playoffs again.

These are both good suggestions.  I play in another league (also on Yahoo) and we submit waiver requests that go into a queue until noon Wednesday.  After that waivers are awarded in reverse order of standings (worst team has first crack at their waiver request if multiple people try to pick up the same player).  After that pickups are first-come, first-served until the first kickoff of the week when the queue system starts up again.  This is in the spirit of the NFL's parity rules and seems to work well.

As for draft day, the ideal time to draft is after the third preseason game and right before the last week of games.  Nobody worth starting plays in the final week so there's low risk of drafting someone who gets injured before the regular season, and like Greg says there's a lot clearer picture on the talent pool for the draft.

Still borderline to make the play-offs, currently 7th at 6-6 but there's 3 7-5 teams above me. I need a win and a stumble. Losing 3 of the last 4 hasn't helped.
