OK! So out of 105 bands participating in the first round we are left with 28 for the second round. This round will consist of 9 polls.

Nenenenene! Au Dela du Delire was, is and will always be on my top 10 EVER. I bought the LP in Martinique in the winter of 1975 , amid all the calypso music and the blistering hot weather , there was Godevain le Vilain! Cool

That Side1 still gives me the chills LOL

Ah yes, it's hard to beat the kings of atmosphere! And they do it so easily too. There are a lot more complicated or groundbreaking french albums out there, but this one no doubt about it, has the magic all over it.

BTW Thomas I forgot to include one more band that for some reason escaped my list...Synopsis! Embarrassed

Well most of the bands on this list and more participated, I have more bands (including angipatch) but I don't know them well enough so I left them out.

Very hard choice, I love L'araignee-Mal but I think
Au Delà du Delire is more original.

A close win for Ange.

Two stone cold classics of Prog.

I thought you guys would vote for it, and after listening to these three albums I must say this is the one I enjoyed the most, maybe it's because I haven't listened to it in a while. Anyway that is one killer album that deserves a few more votes.
One thing I love about this album and that's what makes it so unique is that it can be so aggressive and disturbing but in the meantime it's not heavy, not loud and not noisy. Bring on the Hurdy Gurdy!!! Big smile

It's a high quality album that's for sure, and it kicked serious butts the previous round.
It's sad to see it goes, kinda like watching Brazil being kicked out in the semi finals ( well maybe not the same LOL)

LOL That reminds me the game for third place is on right now, might as well check it out at least. Yeah this wasn't close but then Ange is a lot more well known as a band than the other two.

Yes popularity wins eventually but that's fine at least a few obscure titles are getting mentioned.

And yes the game is on, that'll be cool to ease our day's tension after all the things happening around here. Peace.
