By the time they reach 70, James LaBrie may have learned to sing in tune

Doc, didn't you know that metal is the Fountain of Youth? Better crank up some Mastodon while there's still time!
I've never cared for metal of any kind....well, I do like most Rush and some Sabbath...but all the other prog metal, tech metal, death metal, . etc , just doesn't do a darn thing for me.

God, you are out of touch with Rush aren't you - Geddy stopped doing that many years ago - if he tried to sing 'Closer To The Heart' in its original register these days, the poor man'd give himself a hernia

There are entire mountain ranges and forests younger than me Cry
I'm old enough to remember when 'super' didn't preface 'models', when no-one owned a coffee table unless you were American, when yoghurt was considered 'exotic'  when bad meant s.h.i.t.e. when football boots were black, when clever people didn't feel the need to act dumb to fit in, when debt was considered shameful, when consoling a distressed child didn't make you a paedophile, when staying with the same partner for more than 10 minutes meant you worked at your relationships, when reality TV was considered the worst type of pornography, when Woody Allen was still funny, when only yer Mum watched cookery programmes, when the UK hadn't yet become part of the Indian empire (the list goes on) Tongue

It was also the time of itchy wool stockings, black and white television and no pop music on the radio/tv. LOL

Everybody did have a coffee table though (it wouldn't surprise me if that should turn out to be a Swedish invention actually). Tongue

My dad made coffee tables in the 60s - odd shaped thing covered in brightly coloured formica on spindly black legs. The coffee tables weren't much to look at either.
What?

Especially the underlined section.

BTW - yoghurt exotic? Nah! If you wanted exotic food, it was a dried Vesta Curry

So in a way, you've grown up with PA.

Through moving out of home, post secondary school, starting my career, joining the International Cinematographer's Guild, several relationships, the beginning and ending of a substance abuse problem and a MtF transition.
