Hey everyone! I have more of a background in extreme metal music than anything, so of course Opeth, my favorite band, was my bridge over into prog music. I mostly listen to prog music which is more on the metal side like Opeth, Edge of Sanity, Enslaved, Atheist, Cynic, Gojira, Tool, BTBAM, Mastodon, and Meshuggah, but also quite a few bands which are more straightforward prog rock - like The Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Pink Floyd, and Rush. Recently I've been trying to explore more of the prog rock side and that's why I'm here. So hello, everyone. :)
