Hmm? Geek I wonder what would happen? Big smile

Richard Wright.

Voted for DT; not as big of a fan of the style of music TD have to offer.

Easy call. Tangerine Dream. Dream Theater simply doesn't resonant with me.

Neither Confused

I like a good amount from both, but nothing from either really amazes me.

I went with Dream Theater here though I think they'd provide more of a soundtrack to my dreams rather than  . . . well . . . I mean, John Petrucci is a heck of a guitar player and all of that but just not my style . . .

Tangerine Dream.

I can tolerate Dream Theater, I just get the feelng I've heard it all before.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I think I speak for all hippys when I say we abstain from sex, drugs, and music in general sooo

The hippy factor in early Tangerine Dream is overstated since all the older albums happen to be better than any of the newer Tangerine Dream albums which I have heard. Can't think of any 80's Tangerine Dream albums which are any good for that matter - totally lacking any inspiration. Dream Theater have that early period where they were a brilliant band. For me they lost it after Metropolis. So both bands start brilliantly then run of ideas but keep making album after album without much inspiration. For me that means that I'm sitting on the fence.

Neither. I'm not greatly impressed with either band.

I'm practicably buried under a mound of TD albums. I like some DT stuff especially Six Degrees but nowhere near the same extent as TD.
