yes, it was today in 1966 that what is considered to be greatest album ever made was released (i personally would pick Sgt. Pepper over this one any day of the week). so, to be clear, what's your favorite song on the whole entire album? oh and Fun Fact: it was on this very day the following year that Pink Floyd's debut The Piper at the Gates of Dawn was first released. however, thisdayinmusic.com suggests that it was August 4, 1967 was the release date. so im not sure. just thought you should know that. anyway, go ahead & choose.

TNK always does it for me.
I'm a huge Beatles nut, and all of their albums are in the range of "excellent" to "godlike", but I'm not of the opinion that Revolver is one of their best albums.  That says a lot about their other ones, believe you me.

She Said, She Said....with Tomorrow Never Knows close behind. The whole album is great though, my favorite Beatles album, even beating out Sgt. Peppers.

TNK. I'll speak heresy and say I like the 801 version even better than the original. Please don't cast me out from the group Smile

TNK, the start of Progressive Rock as far as I'm concerned, as is the album itself.

Appropriately enough, your avatar shows the album the 801 version comes from!

It is a cool version, I grant you that.

I like the Phil Collins version of TNK on Face Value. Even if he cuts out a verse or two.

^  I never knew Collins covered TNK. I'll hand in my Prog badge immediately or commit Hari Kari. Or just listen to music from a band named Harikiri.

Nah. You just have to do penance. 12 hours of non-stop Justin Bieber listening.      Of course, hari kari might be more humane.

Eleanor Rigby is, to my ears, simply perfect.

Wow such a great assortment of pop prog songs---(sort of like the new Yes album Heaven and EarthBig smile) voted
Tomorrow Never Knows!

But it's a tough choice as there are so many great one's--Eleanor Rigby for one.

Strangely enough, I've never come to like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" ... for anything ... for anything.

Other than that, so many great songs on the album. I'll vote for the one that didn't get a vote and has been quite a large part of my life, like many other Beatles songs (can't believe my life is that large) - "Doctor Robert". So psychedelic. That organ and that riff ... just the music ... s$%t.

I'm quite partial to George's contributions on that LP; 'I Want to Tell You' and 'Taxman' superb.   John's TNK also great.
