Not Now John and When the Tigers Broke   Free. I can't stand the rest of the album.

I have to say here that Gilmour's lead-break in Fletcher Memorial Home is one of his finest ever.

I'm not a big fan of this album so I'll skip the poll.

Quoted for truth Approve.

For me the standout track from this album by some distance too.  There's some other good tracks but it's not Floyd's best, that's for sure.

^ - there's just something about his 'attack' and choice of notes, not to mention THE PERFECT orchestral score in the background. It floored me in the late-80's, and still floors me now, even going in my head as I type.....

It still baffles me how little love this album gets. It's absolutely brilliant imo.

For me, the reasons are manifold: it could be titled "The Wall, Part II: My Dad is still Dead"; the lack of band participation is palpable, and no Richard Wright; it sounds like a Roger Waters solo album; and it is not even the best Roger Waters solo album.

Agree with you except that for me it is best R.Waters solo album. In any case O like it much. Here in PA no more than 3* album for me.
