Not having heard the track it's hilariously confusing trying to build a sound up based on the descriptions and suggestions people are giving. Banco maybe, but more American. Chicago but not Chicago. Inspired by Isaac Hayes. Definitely white guys going for Latin Fusion Rock. Guitar like Al Di Meola.

For a band similar to Chicago, I'd say Blood Sweat and Tears or Three Dog Night.  But I don't think that either of them did this song either.

Read the first post in the thread..... I put  the up song in question.

The members had been very keen on figuring out another track which I did not put up due to not being home where it resides on my hard drive that track got id'd in bout 14 post or so .
I did provide a pretty detailed descrip though being a musician etc.

So it can happen without hearing the actual track sometimes

Thought it might be 'Madura'.....a band produced by Guercio who also did Chicago., but I played some of their stuff on you tube and could not find that track.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.
