Seeing as you gys nailed the last mystery track after a few posts,
Well  here is one from at least 1977
Been trying to find out for decades who is this band but to no avail.
Sorry for the video black out halfway thru but its all about the music anyways

Possibly someone knows who this is ?

Cool track but I've never heard it before. Good luck.

It sounds familiar. Any chance it's Banco? Sounds like something from Garofano Rosso. Or perhaps it's from a Goblin album? Just can't place it exactly.

It's not Banco. The part with vocals and the following guitar solo in the video blackout sounds American 70s to me. It may be something occasionally prog from a non-prog band.

For me, it sounds more like something what was recorded & used for a film.

Almost sounds like vintage Chicago.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

Obviously someone quite inspired by Isaac Hayes' "Shaft". I like the Santana-like guitar sound. I'd guess early 70s, though. Not a big name, top airplay band. Perhaps early Harold Faltermeyer... (joking ....)

If the world must be this wasted,
(Every time you know it's paste)
Where a tree must look much better
(Go in love with every ledger)

Quiet days x3

Why does someone have to tell me?
Something that they had to sell me?
???
???

Quiet days x8

That's my best guess. Maybe the song is called Quiet Days?

I think the chorus is  ' what i need'

It definitely has a Chicago-esque nature to it. I just don't think it is them though
The Terry Kath like guitar solo can also be compared to John Goodsall of Brand X fame
He has that lightning fast ability as in this solo.

and yes it could be a non prog group reaching into that realm.
The middle piano synth section is truly haunting

I'd like to find out, too. Actually quite good. I searched all around, still nothing. The chorus may be "Quiet Place" they say, though it's hard to tell. It's obviously an unknown artist, since bing or google can't find those lyrics ANYWHERE. Though, it is Google and bing...

I hope someone figures this out.

It's the band I thought to first. Any similar?
