^^ You might as well not have voted since you gave the album 1 star LOL

Hogweed is the star. I'd give it 3 stars usually but seeing a 3 star album rated as 4.5 star needs some rating alterations 😃
PA's ratings are not supposed to reflect your tastes. Now give it the three star you think it should have.

Anyway, its my favorite Genesis album and I think its perfect from beginning to end. But as for the two highlights I agree with everyone else.  But I can't choose one over the other.

The break in 'Fountain exemplified what good prog should sound like and unleashed (along with 'Hogweed) Mr. Hackett's sheer guitar-playing brilliance upon the world. And what a delight it was to hear this song later on Three Sides Live with Mr. Bruford along for the ride. Both songs eclipse the slow-moving, static 'Musical Box.

'Salmacis! Made even that much better by Bruford's assist on Three Sides Live, it must be stated forcefully.

The Musical Box for sure
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

The Musical Box is my favourite, but I decided to vote for my second favourite instead since I figure no one else will: For Absent Friends.

No he doesnīt. Hasnīt listened to it really īcos thereīs nothing "static". The general problem is some people simply do not LISTEN to the music, they just think they hear something.

Gawd, I have this album for almost 30 years and it never gets tired. It still hits the TT often.
Fountain sums up Genesis for me.
