It's my favorite Doors album actually - there's something really perverse about all those sweet and sappy songs, with some of their weirdest songs (Soft Parade, Running Blue, Shaman's Blues) always lurking right around the corner.   Looks like there are quite a few live clips from that period - thanks for adding the others.

More from The Doors, "The End" was excellent enough in the studio, but on stage at The Hollywood Bowl... mesmerising and unnerving are the words to describe it.

Not sure if there are many Negativland fans around here, but I came across this recent live clip of the group playing their old 80s track "Yellow Black and Rectangular" on stage.  On the album, it's a memorable if unremarkable 2 minute piece, but here they go off on a long improvisation that really does it for me.
