If one realizes or accesses just a fraction (mustard seed size) of his infinite potential then so called miracles are possible.

Of course if you don’t believe in a soul or have a limited concept of it then it’s probably all rubbish to you.

Even if souls existed it's hard to imagine that they could be omnipotent, unless they are only one soul. More than one can not both be omnipotent, if each wants the mountain to be in different places they are in trouble LOL

Possessing infinite power doesn’t diminish infinity itself.  May be hard to imagine but souls do exist as a singularity; an oceanic singularity.  All as one…  All is one…

Not matter how many times I read that first bit, it doesn't make any sense. Sorry.

Go to your kitchen, grab the whiskey bottle, drink the whole, and this sentence will make sense.

Maybe.

OK, back on track with the thread's premise (by the by, I think the thread needs a subtitle with the word "philosophy" in it if people want to find the thread before creating a duplicate).

I've noticed Vompatti's signature link to an interesting webpage, Nervous Horse. On it there's a link to an article called "Why Ethics Is Harmful" (check it out). It appears that the author of the article wants to tie ethics to hope:

Originally posted by T. K. Oih T. K. Oih wrote:

Ethics is like communism: it doesn’t work in practice. That makes it not only useless but detrimental, for it gives people false hope, and if there is one thing there is too much of in this world, it is hope.

My query: how does ethics give hope to people?

^ Hm? ... Ethics is an idea that can be put to practice; hope is kind of an emotion and a thought. How does one lead to the other?
