Hey Twseel. Have you ever checked out The Future Sound Of London?
Listening to their Lifeforms album right now. One of the most important electronic albums of the 90s imo.
I have heard of them before, vaguely, but I guess I'll officially make a mental note for future reference.
Thankings in advance

Hey no prob. I just remember you posting some covers of electronic albums, and I was just curious to know.
If you decide to take the plunge and listen to one of their albums, then I'd advise you to pick either Lifeforms or Dead Cities. The latter is a little more dark and sinister while Lifeforms is this floating experimental thing. They even collaborated with Robert Fripp on an album which is featured here on PA under the moniker of FFWD. Sorta like a meeting between IDM and Frippertronics.

Me I'm listening to the second disc of Lifeforms atmApprove

It's becoming something of a tradition starting out the day with electronic music at my apartment. Today is no different

That was killer hahah.

You're the man!!
I've been raving about this band from day one! I hope many more people will turn on to their music because I've always considered them to be PA's best kept secret.
Both their latest albums are incredible masterpieces mixing grooving progressive songs with a touch of avant, country and more in the most daring and innovative way, and of course add some jaw dropping and crispy playing .
I can add this bombshell of a song althouugh it's best listening to the whole album to fully grasp what they're all about.

Well then add him two more points Guld!
But seriously if I had one more band to recommend to you Dave, Dreadnaught would be it! although I think you've already saw me drooling all over them before, essential stuff really.

I must admit, I remember reading your reviews thinking they sounded very much like a band I should dig. My notes have essentially failed me...or maybe I didn't make the note to begin with, that's the real mystery here.
*looking through notes*
Nope, I forgotWacko
This has, of course, been rectified as of this very minuteBig smile

What?!?!?!Shocked
I was convinced that I had 'Never Say Die' lying around somewhere, but I don't. My Sabbath cds are even stacked together, so it was easy to check (95% of my collection is completely mixed. Bob Marley next to Univers Zero and Pantera cosying up with TDLOL).
Damn.... This is blasphemy! I even have loads of live stuff (one 2 cd bootleg from the 1975 Sabotage tour in Ashbury Park, with excellent sound I might add).
Wow...this took me completely by surpriseLOL "WTF I don't have every Ozzy release with Sabbath???????"
