I am a bit excited for a new Metallica album.  Their latter day releases haven't been as good as their early releases, but I still enjoy them.

Before:

And now back to the Yes marathon:

Before whilst doing the dishes:

And now:

I have to admit, I vastly prefer the latter. I think Lodger is such an overlooked Bowie album. Happens to be one of my absolute faves and consequentially the one I play the most (which is quickly becoming obvious looking at the state of the cd).

I gave Ziggy Stardust a review here that's one of my few "negative reviews" I've ever done.  I just can't get into it.  My friend is in a Bowie tribute band, plays the album in its entirety, and I don't even want to go watch.  I do like Suffragette City - we used to play it in Rare Goat.  It's exhausting to play because the singing hardly ever stops during the entire song.
I like Lodger a bit better, but it's still one I've never enjoyed as much as I feel I should.  That one just needs more time perhaps, because the Eno period is by far my favorite.

Sorry that was kind of a negative post.   Something about Ziggy just brings out the snarkiness in me.
