King Crimson - Starless

A great album. The Night Watch has to be one of the greatest Crimson songs ever.

I'm listening to the song Starless not the album(we all make mistakes though). Anyways, I agree I love The Night Watch too. It is perhaps my favorite song by them Approve

Ah, okay. You usually post an image of the album cover, so I thought you just didn't feel like posting the image. Anyway, Starless is an A+ song. Great stuff. I love the whole album of Red, though.

PA (and Prog for that matter), I love you but I will take a vacation from you for a while. I'm on a quest to rediscover my musical  roots.

So far this has been the best release of the year for me - prog or not:
Currently listening to this remarkable track.

Just about to finish this one
Damn it's been such a long time since I last heard this. I'd completely forgotten just how insane Bruford is.

Next up is:

Judging by the emoticon, I'd say he's on a metal kick, so maybe that's where he went (if that indeed is a place). Just for the record, we're quite open to folks who listen to other musics than progWink Hell, I have periods where I don't listen to any prog - maybe I'll go all electronic or jazz.......but it's still perfectly fine to continue posting here. You just talk about Boards Of Canada or John Coltrane insteadSmile
PA can be a lot of things to lots of different people,

but I gather that EVERYONE of us needs a break from it once in a while.

Right on! Besides prog rock, I'm into classical and jazz, so I know all too well about taking a break. The reason I was confused is ProgMetaller2112 is a friend of mine on here and this came rather out of the blue, so I was just commenting on how I felt about that announcement.

Ahh ok, sorry for intruding thenEmbarrassed
Anyway, I just hope he knows that he doesn't have to be all out prawk rawking when he's on this board. There are many long-standing members here who mostly reside in general discussions, because they've said everything about music they ever wanted and seen their fair share of Genesis polls. It's all good in the end. Others, like myself, explore new sonic corridors, but most return to ze pork at some pointWink
