I do prefer vinyl though, but I'd have to be somewhat sober in order to operate my turntable. If the state of drunkenness has reached karate-jello movements and strange dancing, then I prefer digital. Then it's only my computer/Ipod that gets trashed.

Mostly digital these days but I always buy vinyl and I love it. I got tired of buying and listening to CDs. The digital format is way better IMO

I am a child of the 70's, but I listen to most of my music digitally.  Financial considerations probably have a lot to do with it - I have a family to try to support.  If I could afford to buy music in any format, I would definitely buy more CD's, if for no other reason than to better support bands that I love.  However, I don't have a middle-aged person's nostalgic attachment to older formats.

Cd's. Why be a tight ass when listening to quality music? It's so much better having the album cover, song list and something to read about the band. Not to mention good sound quality and no interferences
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Mostly CDs due to my age, but I still have some of my vinyl around that I listen to, and I have some digital versions as well. No option for cassette or 8-track?

CD.

For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Digitally, but only because it tends to be the most convenient.

Digital mostly.  I'd like to collect and listen to more vinyl, but I have no room, and digital is more convenient, portable, and easier to use headphones with.

Mostly cd. I can't stand the idea of listening to an "album" without having access to the physical product.

already answered this but also think CD's sound better which is why I buy the CD if the group or music is important to me---are there any geeks out there who think that CD sound is better than digital? Less truncated maybe?Ermm
