Topic: Genesis album art Posted: August 21 2014 at 18:50 |
I think both of these have fantastic art... Gonna go with Wind and Wuthering. Any time I listen to it, I always picture what's going on in the songs in black and white. Sets the mood for the entire album.

Wind And Wuthering for me. It's my favorite album art by them.

Wind and Wuthering... it might just as well be my favourite cover art from them.

Both artworks suit the music contained within, but W&W is my preferred cover.

Support for the subtlety and nuance of W&W. I just love the stark atmospheric nature of it.

Trick. WAW is nice but Trick artwork is classic.

To me Genesis has always had consistently bad cover art; the only one worth its salt is Selling England. Trick of the Tail is okay but Wuthering? It's some friggin trees in a meadow with some birds.

The drawings on A Trick of the Tail is wonderful but Nursery Cryme has my actual favorite Genesis-cover (possibly not so interested in W&W cover art because I don't enjoy it as much as you all seem to)

Better the pale, neutral front cover of W&W than the over-convoluted one for ATotT (I'd rather have the latter done in black-and-white than brown-and-yellow).
