I'm dying to see this show. I know they did the High Voltage festival show in 2010 which may have been there last, but say it ain't so! haha

I was at that show. It was great at the time but if you listen to the CD, you would probably think it best that they left it there.

I remember there were some words afterwards that Palmer wasn't too pleased with the effort put in by the other two members.

Keith Emerson is interviewed in the latest edition of Prog magazine. He basically said that it was Palmer who didn't want to carry on after High Voltage and I guess this is why Emerson and Lake have been playing together as a duo.

Well Palmer still makes a decent living from Asia so why bother helping the other 2 out at this point--especially id Emerson is not playing like he used to.

I'm not aware of this . Palmer just felt that it wasn't going to get any better than it was at that festival and thought it best to call a halt. The funny thing is that it was Palmer that copped the most criticism from fans for a very stiff performance. In rehearsal footage that was widely available Palmer sounded a lot more fluent and was including his characteristic fills. These seem to go missing on the actual performance. Emerson did have physical issues but these cannot be overcome while I thought Lake sang well but of course he doesn't have the range he once had.

Isn't this section rather made to announce forthcoming concerts?

Yeah, a relocation to the Prog Music Lounge would work.

If they did, I want to see them ... bare and unplugged!

Maybe this would take some of the egos out and help the music come alive instead!

An unplugged Hammond... I don't think I'll be paying much to hear that. Clown

You know in 1973 several venues had to reinforce the stage to support the weight of Palmer's stainless steel drum kit. If they will tour again they will need to reinforce them to support Greg Lake...

Have you seen Lake's photos from the High Voltage show?

Gay or straight, do you want to see that bare?  Dead
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
