Script. I don't listen to Trespass all that much. It has a few great cuts like Stagnation and The Fork, but greater things were indeed to come. |
You got it wrong, it's The Spoon........

I prefer Spoonful from the days of Clapton's drug-fuelled adventures.

I like script and its a 5 star album IMO BUT Trespass is a exact masterpiece(IMO again!!). I think there are a thin line between "5 star albums" and "Masterpieces" (IMO!!)

Genesis' Trespass by a million miles. Don't like Marillion and can't stand Fish. | Mmm... strange, since whatever I dislike from Fish is just about the same things I dislike from Gabriel. |
I'd take Gabriel at his lowest point even when Fish was at his highest point. In other words, Gabriel is IMHO a better musician and his voice is certainly more tolerable than Fish's constant yammering. | Well, the thing is that I don't really like this kind of singers, so neither of them sound particularly better or worse to me. I would say that I like the music on their bands in spite of the vocals.

Trespass. It's a milestone, it's intricate, delicate, ornate, sophisticated, soulful, fairy tale-like, and there's nothing else like it. Script is quite good but not a match for Trespass.

Marillion, Script for a Jester's Tear.

Trespass. Never cared for Marillion in any of its incarnations.

Script is quite good, but Trespass is a masterpiece.
