I like Stormwatch ......and imo after that one Tull didn't quite have that classic sound I liked. I still buy whatever they release but rarely play the later ones.

Also comes highly recommended played at the wrong speed - especially the drumming solo from Clive Bunker. Listening to this in double speed jolts me back to Roskilde Festival memories of sitting on a tiny golf course we'd constructed - chugging beers and whiskey - laughing our heads off. I did adore the track prior to this though, but those memories are just the icing on the cakeBig smile

Too many songs to choose from. Tull are the best band of the 70s no doubt about it. Can't wait for the Warchild remix. 3 albums worth of studio tracks. I reckon this will be just as good as the Aqualung box

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Probally Locomotive Breath,followed closely by Too Old To Rock N Roll Too Young To Die-the above mentioned Quizz Kid is a personal fave as well.

Audition and Left right from the remixed chateau album are as strong as any of tulls many great tracks

It would have to be "My God " off of aqualung the guitar playing by martin barre is incredible! I have seen Jethro Tull four different times and every show increased my appetite for more!Madison Square Garden ,Shea Stadium, New Haven Coliseum ,Jones Beach Theater.Did you know Tony Iommi once auditioned for Jethro Tull?

Iommi actually played live with them at the 'Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus' event right after Mick Abrahams quit...but they, Anderson,  didn't think he was a 'right fit' for the band.

Baker Street Muse - The best song from the best album! This was the pinnacle of JT´s mega-creative 70´s period. A song that captures more emotions then TAAB and APP together. And unlike many other epics the lyrics has something to say!
Songs From The Wood - Listening to this song - with it´s intricate melody and tight playing - makes me want to shout out to the world: People - take a break for some minutes from your autotune-muzak brainwash and listen to REAL Music just for a while!!!
 
Wondring Again - It´s a pity that this song was left out from Aqualung - it has a timeless athmosphere and concludes Wondring Aloud in a way that makes them a perfect pair. Ian never sang better than this!
