I believe most of the PITP entourage will be calling the Clarion home for the weekend! This hotel is not within walking distance, however it is just a couple miles away. 

FRIDAY PRE-SHOW: Umphrey's McGee! 
Friday, September 9. Water Street Music Hall. Umphrey's McGee has risen to the upper echelons of the improvisational rock scene through their seamless compositing of diverse musical influences; from prog-rock , funk, folk, jazz-fusion and classical song-based rock-n-roll, all woven together with infectious melodies, thought-provoking lyrics, pristine harmonies, blistering musicianship and rollicking grooves. Tickets only through Ticket Master or the door (if available). 

PROG90/PITP is piggybacking this event to help UM's promotion. Please do not expect to purchase tickets/get UM info through PROG90. 

IN THE AUDIENCE: Gentle Giant's GARY GREEN! 
Gentle Giant guitarist, Gary Green, has let PitP organizers know that he plans on being in the audience this year. Gary does not want to make an "appearance" or have any fuss made, but will be available in the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of music lovers that Prog in the Park has become known for. 

Gary plans to meet with fans of GG, listen to the great music, drink beer, and enjoy the day, much as you will. 

FOOD & DRINK: One Stop Shopping! 
Below the German House Theater is a bar/restaurant called The Keg (our second stage home). There will be bars open in both the Theater and the Keg all day. Feel free to go downstairs anytime and catch a bite to eat as well. If you 'd like to step away from the venue at any point, a number of casual eateries are available in very short walking distance. 

We encourage you to support the fine people of The German and The Keg! 

PATRON PACKAGES: Only A Few Left! 
$100 gets you 2 main floor reserved seat tickets at a table all day, a CD, and a T-Shirt. Otherwise, purchase a General Admission Ticket for $20 (Buy 3, get 1 free!). General admission has access to limited main floor seating and the entire theater balcony on a first come, first served basis.

Any prog band, magazine, festival, retailer, etc. that wants to promote/sell their product can do so for free at PITP. There is no vending space fee. We do however ask that each member of your vending party purchase at least a General Admission Ticket. Table space will be provided. You need to bring the rest (extention cords, cd/dvd players, tape, pens, etc...)
