Ende (Mexico) for Crossover Prog

Ende is a Mexican band that aims to create music capable of transmitting and creating ideas in the listener. With very marked influences of progressive and alternative rock, lyrics inspired by diverse writing, Ende conceived music as a whole and not just the sum of its parts; Ende is described as a concept: the art, music messages in lyrics and interpretation come together to define clearly what it represents.
In October of 2010 Sergio Vera (guitar) and Ulises Hernandez Anzaldo (guitar and vocals), got together with the intention to create music. Working on this objective, the creative process started and became the first stage of the Ende’s first album. In 2011 they decided to take the project to the next level. Then the group completed its lineup to finish the composition stage. That was when Emilio Landini (bass) and Carlos Espinosa (drums) joined the band.
The name of the band was taken from the German writer Michael Ende because the concept of the band is widely identified with his literature.
On August 25, 2013 Ende presented a live session with the record company Cicuta Records as part of the contest “Cicuta Band Battle 3”. Their out-standing participation let them reach the semi-final stage that was held on September 8. The two presentations were broadcasted via internet.
On February 11, 2014, “El Garage Presenta”, produced by “BJ Medios”, streamed on their YouTube channel one of the songs recorded at their facilities.
Ende is promoting their first album in different venues in Mexico City and Puebla.
On June 11th, the band's first album was presented in with a 3 gigs in different parts of Mexico D.F.
