Have to go for 10cc, not a huge fan of ELO. "The Dean and I" is enough on its own to beat ELO.

10cc, at least up to Deceptive Bends. How Dare you is one of my all-time favourite albums, a terrific combination of musical creativity, artiness and humour.

Definitely 10cc here, Sheet Music is an amazing record.
Anyone who enjoys 10cc should check out Godley & Creme solo album called "L". It's much more experimental and weird but still excellent all the way.

I love both bands - both deserve more attention on here.
Sheet Music is one of the great art rock/prog albums and Time is also excellent.

Love both bands, but I have to go with ELO. IMO, they have more great albums. 10CC only have a couple great albums IMO. Also, 10CC's first couple of albums were too silly for me:)

Sorry, but ELO is the most Beatles sounding band after Klatuu. Perhaps they should have been in the question, too.

10CC were a much more interesting and musically varied band compared to ELO who stuck to a very familiar sound and style. However 10CC could never touch ELO at their best imo.Clever arty pop group versus heavyweight seventies stadium band? I think I vote for the latter.

I love'm both but I can listen to EARLY 10cc and not skip a track. ELO usually causes a tendency to skip around.
Don't Hang Up and Feel the Benefit are incredible tracks.
