Please disucss your thoughts and feelings about the new NHL season here.

My Isles have got a flying start to the new season, with four wins out of a possible four! Big smile Will they make it five, after tonights game v. Penguins? We'll see...

Great start for the CH, 5-1-0 after tonight's game. Not sure if they'll make the playoffs this season, though: Questionable defense and can Price be as good or better than last year? Probably, we'll see.

Go Habs!

Love the way the Habs handled the Big Bad Bruins! Mind games, indeed!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

They handled the crazy Ludic again who's got the mind of a psychopath who receives a tap in the hands for injuring players in the ice.

The Wings are off to a good start too at 3-1-1.  Next game is on Tuesday against the mighty Habs.

I've been more into the MLB playoffs these days but have caught quite a few NHL games already including St.Louis Blues opener against the Rangers which was a really good game.
I just wanted to take the time though to thank my American friends who always have our backs up here in Canada including the shooting of a soldier yesterday in Ottawa which resulted in the Ottawa/Toronto game being cancelled last night. But hearing that they sang the Canadian anthem before the Pittsburg/Philadelphia game last night made me emotional to say the least. Hearing of American fans singing with passion our anthem like it was their own still is making me tear-up.
Thanks for the support once again, you will always have mine.

Man of Mystery won't be too happy.  Red Wings scored two goals late in the third period to tie it up with the Penguins 3 to 3.

Oh my goodness.  The Wings win in OT.  I figured for sure the Penguins would still win in a shootout.

I don't really follow hockey much anymore. It's basically down to just baseball and football for me. That being said, when I did follow hockey I was a die-hard Devils fan and it was a pleasure watching them win a few Cups. From what I'm told they aren't doing so great this year.

The Penguins stink.  New coach, same old bad habits.
