Which on your favourite track on this utter masterpiece by Strawbs - a concept album about the journey through life?

I could vote for almost all of them, depending on my mood!

Queen of Dreams is utterly fantastic, the band using all sorts of effects (backward recording) , a stellar beat and sublime vocals and keys.
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Mine too, and it is as fantastic today as it was then.

But, after a lot of thought, I'm voting for The Flower and the Young Man, the best of a truly exceptional group of tracks.

Benedictus over New World and both are incredible, as is the album.
Another Folk song I love is Galadriel by BJH, just sayin'. Big smile

Benedictus
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Benedictus.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
